Painted this Mike Trout Watercolor for Beckett and am beyond excited to have it on the cover!
As a teenager I won two Beckett Sports art contests (Muhammed Ali &. Steve Carlton, which became a part of Beckett’s permanent collection)— and I’ve had articles about me as well as features of my art—full story and inside covers, but this is my First Cover for Beckett Media!
So excited about returning to Ballers in 2019, not just because I’m a fan and love the show, but because I was tapped to paint some original artwork for the sets in season 5, and this is a sneak peek!
Williams Carlos Williams Poetry comes alive in new paintings by James Fiorentino
Poetry meets Art when William Carlos Williams’ granddaughter Daphne and James Fiorentino have team up to create a new venue of displaying poetry through the visual medium of art.
These three Copyrighted paintings are available for use and licensing.
I presented former Super Bowl MVP OJ Anderson with this original Monday as he was honored at the Somerset Pro Celebrity Golf Outing at the Neshanic Valley Golf Course.
As a golf committee member I have been painting the honorees for many years, and this year it was OJ, who loved the piece!
SPECIAL EVENTS
Tour of Somerville 2019 (Memorial Day Weekend)
In partnership with Studio 7 Fine Art Gallery in Bernardsville , NJ, James was commissioned to paint the official artwork for the 2019 Tour of Somerville. The original artwork will permanently hang in the collection of the US Bicycling Hall of Fame in California. The painting was made into limited edition giclees and posters that will be available the week of the tour. The posters have been sponsored by Flemington Car and Truck Company, Land Rover of Princeton, Clinton Honda and The Somerset Patriots. There are many events leading up to the race on Memorial Day and James will be signing at a few spots. For more information please visit www.tourofsomerville.org
Spring Training: People, Places, Play
April 22 –June 14, 2019
Babe Ruth’s granddaughter, Linda Ruth Tosetti, was at the Opening Reception. Linda shared about her famous grandfather and signed giclee prints of a portrait of the Babe created for this exhibit by James Fiorentino.
Artist and D&R Greenway trustee James Fiorentino is renowned for his portriats of sports legends such as Yogi Berra, Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson, Mickey Mantle and Casey Stengel. This exhibition includes his and other artists’ work celebrating the lands where we play.
Met Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes recently, who signed these original painting, which are available. (Signed by both artist and athlete) – Contact me for information
Enjoyed chatting with legendary New Orleans Saints Quarterback Drew Brees last month as he signed my artwork. Original paintings available (signed by athlete and artist). Contact me for details.

NWS 2019
National Watercolor Society Annual Members Show
Exhibition Dates: April 4 – June 23, 2019
One of the most prestigious watercolor juried shows in the world, the NWS is one of the oldest nonprofit artist led societies in the United Sates. The Painting, “Neighbor,” a watercolor by James Fiorentino, was selected for this year’s exhibition and will be on display at the NWS Gallery in San Pedro California.

My artwork is also featured in the June/July edition of Beckett Vintage Collector magazine.
SPLASH 21: Capturing Mood
For the second year in a row James was selected to be represented in Splash 21 for the August 2020 publication. Last year for Splash 20, James’s Leopard was chosen for North Lights Books annual competition. This year it was his “Plums” original watercolor. ArtistsNetwork.com competition elects artists from around the world for its Best of Watercolor edition.
